WATCH: Paolo Duterte undergo comprehensive drug test, Negative for several types of drugs

Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte has tested negative for illegal drug use in comprehensive drug tests conducted on October 30, his camp announced on Wednesday.

Results of the test showed President Rodrigo Duterte's son to be clean of amphetamine, methampethamines, cocaine/metabolites, opiates, extended opiates, phencyclidine, THC metabolite, and benzodiazepines.

Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV challenged the Davao vice mayor to undergo drug tests after alleged gun-for-hire Edgar Matobato accused the presidential son of being a known drug addict in Davao City.
"His imputations that I was a drug addict were based entirely on a fabricated story by a man whose imagination is as twisted as the senator's," Duterte said.

"The results of the comprehensive drug test is enough vindication for me as I was vilified and slandered as they apparently attempted to destroy my father and the entire Duterte family, he added.
Samples of Duterte's hair, proven to yield comprehensive results for drug testing, were submitted to the Hi-Precision Diagnostic Center and analyzed by Omega Laboratories.

The mayor is set to undergo another drug test that promises to be "more comprehensive than the first test administered by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency."
