“Kilala ba ninyo si Trillanes?” he asked the Filipino crowd present at the Royal Thai Navy Headquarters at the end of his two-day official visit in Thailand.
The crowd responded with jeers before the President could proceed to lambast his critic, who was former mutineer.
“Anong ginawa ng p***** i** niya?
Abugadong may retainer iyan? Totoo yan. Malalaking negosyo natatakot sa kanya. Napakaduwag mong p***** i** mo, matakot kayo.
Reached for his comment, Trillanes denied Duterte’s allegation, even challenging the President to file charges against him.
“That is a lie coming from a pathological liar,” Trillanes said in a text message.
Trillanes had accused Duterte of amassing ill-gotten wealth amounting to P2 billion as early as the campaign period.
The senator also facilitated the tell-all testimony of self-confessed hitman Edgar Matobato and retired SPO3 Arthur Lascañas, both said they were members of the Davao Death Squad that the President founded when he was still the mayor of Davao City.
