Without any evidence, Leni on #NagaLeaks: 'We did not sin against the country'

By Raymund F. Antonio

If the troll armies think they can silence her with their latest expose, they are mistaken.

Vice President Leni Robredo is not about to back down from any online attacks and vowed to continue as the voice of dissent against the controversial policies of the Duterte administration.

This was after an online group called “We Are Collective” released what they call as Part 1 an article entitled “Deception: The Shocking Truth behind Leni and Jesse Robredo.”

The so-called #NagaLeaks has gone viral and it became a trending topic on social media.

“This is not the first time it was done. It has been done this before. They didn’t succeed and no matter what they do, they can’t keep us quiet,” Robredo said in Filipino.

Speaking to reporters in Cebu City, she addressed the supposed “truth” about the Robredos, noting that it is another misinformation against her being spread on social media.

“We are ready to face anything. We have nothing to hide. We did not sin against the country,” said Robredo, who resigned from her post as Housing chief with the Duterte cabinet.

Robredo  said she will continue to voice out her stand on these issues. “These supposed leaks that are coming out are attempts to silence us,” she said.

Just last January, Robredo was allegedly involved into the so-called “LeniLeaks,” a reported plot for Duterte ouster.

“The access to social media is being used against people who are courageously expressing their dissent,” she said.
