WATCH: Gobyerno ang nangunang nagbibigay tulong sa mga Pilipino ayon sa SWS survey


The government remains the top source of help for Filipino households with nearly 5 out of every 10 families saying they received aid, a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed.
The poll conducted from December 3-6, 2016, showed that 46 percent of respondents said they received assistance for the government, 6 percentage points lower than the 52 percent in 2015.

Relatives are the second source of help at 41 percent followed by friends at 16 percent, and private persons at 8 percent.
The least sources of help are private companies at 5 percent, non-government organizations or NGOs at 2 percent, and religious organizations at 1 percent.
